The FMCG Futures internship programme starts runs from mid-November (after exams have finished) through to Jan/Feb (depending on your placement and availability).

Take a look around your home, supermarket, bar, restaurant, specialty food outlet, and you will see many of the brands that fall into the fast-moving consumer goods industry. Thousands of brands, endless opportunities! Nestle, Fonterra, Mars, Whittakers, Watties, Griffins, Sanitarium, L’Oreal, Kimberley-Clark, Frucor-Suntory, Pernod Ricard, Lion, Endeavor, Danone, Foodstuffs, Alliance Marketing, British American Tabacco, Acton, Kraft-Heinz, Woolworths Group, Coca-Cola….so many amazing organisations.

You will select the functional area that you want to get exposure to and share details around your background and experience in your application form. We then search across the internship roles available to find the perfect match.

Yes, it is possible that your application will be provided to more than one employer.

You’ll join an FMCG training programme that will provide you with support to get the most out of your internship, insights into retailing, new product development – tracking a product from an idea to the shelf and the future of the industry, career opportunities and how you can take advantage of them. Sessions are delivered in person and virtually together with other FMCG Futures interns.

Any University student currently in their second year of study or higher can apply (final year students also welcome).

Applications are being taken here. Once you have applied, you will be invited to a video interview. We will match your skills, desired functional area and experience with an opportunity and provide the employer with your details. Employers will reach out directly to arrange an interview and make you an offer.

The length of your internship will vary depending on the opportunity. Internships can last from 8-12 weeks in length.

You will hear back within 2 weeks of the closing date if you have been shortlisted to an employer.

Yes, all FMCG Futures Internships are paid.
